Coilover Maintenance/Lifespan

My Coilovers are about a year and a half old now. Was just wondering what sort of thing do you have to do to "service" them? Do they last as long as normal suspension?

i usually clean mine once a month with fairy then dry them with wd40 and an airline spray on some silicone then rub copper grease into the threads and around the cups to keep them nice and clean and fresh
