Whats it worth?

Post by vwdan »

Hey
Might have seen my previous post in club house but what would you say my car is worth?
Its a S model 1.4 TDI. Y Reg, 48k miles. Cambelt changed last year on 41k

Condition is good. Reflex Silver

Just out of interest.

Cheers

hey, I asked this question too not so long ago. I payed £2400 for my 1.4 S Polo (x-reg) it had done 41k with new cambelt when i brought it and now its down 45k
I think people said around £3200-£3400

not sure if the TDI's are worth more.

Yeah I thought TDI's went for a little more

I wasnt sure how much a garage would give me either part ex or cash if I was to change. I would guess they would give me more for part ex!

I expect that you would end up seeing your car on a garrage fore court going for more than they gave you for it :P

Yeah def! There not gonna be out of pocket lol

Iv only had it a year and I am thinking of changing. Maybe its just a phase but I just like change and I really would like air conditioning lol and remote central locking. Not really anything major I know lol but that would be my excuse if I was to change

I know what you mean about the Air con, I am so used to it but now i have got my polo i dont have it any more :( and i miss it.

Same with the remote central locking but i did something about that. I brought a remote locking kit with nice vw flip keys :D They look great.

Whish you could retro fit air con cheaply.

I didnt think it would bother me not having air con but as I use my car daily, I just wish it was there sometimes :(

What car did u used to have before the polo?

This is the kit i used. With the VW badges on the fobs.
I think they are pretty much identicle to the real vw ones.
I have seen a few vw drivers with new dubs with keys identicle to mine.

On the subject i'm looking to sell my polo but i don't know the value and ive been told so many different values ranging from £1000 to £3000 so if someone would be kind enough to tell me roughly what i could expect, it's the polo E 1.0 FSH by VW apart from last time by myself 43,000 miles just had a new clutch, clean interior can't think of anything else for now
Many thanks
