oil problemm...

well you know the little monitor on the right hand side. it flashed up with this" service" and then kept flashing "OIL". so i had an oil change...and it still does it. i have been told i will need something reseting, and the VW garrage tryed to charge me Â£75 for a new oil change filter and reset. i sed flop that cus i only paid Â£25 for my oil change. so i was just wondering if anyone knows what i can do to reset what ever neeeds reseting????????????/

its quite easy to do, first off it tells you on page 54 of your polo owners guide,

trust me it works, ive done it a few times on my polo,

if you really cant get it to work. find someone with vag com on a laptop and an odbII cable to reset it.

or mabe leave the battery undone for a day or 2

but use the instructions in the users guide firs then try all else it takes a couple of goes toget the nac

got it now:D

i went to a garage, n u have to hold the button for lyk 15 seconds, then turn ignition off, hold it for another 15 seconds n release. the guy showed me for free an stuff, where as the VW garage tryed to charge me Â£75 :O:O
