after recently fitting my BMC with two standard breathers like so:
i decided to take Bepe's advice about fitting the one way brether from the original airbox as my oil levels were getting seriously low
so i rang round a few scrappies looking for a new engine cover but could'n be doing with paying 30 quid upwards for one so i thought id hack up mine and worry about getting a new one later!!
and here are the pics
new breather from air box
and then i chopped up the cover to tidy things up abit
what do you all recon???

Mind the intake hose against the radiator hoses - it will wear through due to the vibrations. Ive had to replace mine already!!! Ive got some new tubing anyway its too scary to use the original knowing what it can do
I must say that is rather tidy might do that on mine

Ye ill get some pics - basically the vibration from the hose touching the airfeed caused the airfeed to rub into the pipe and rupture it, therefore spilling boiling coolant everywhere

saw what you meant about the hose this morning what are you doing to solve it just relocating the air feed?

it replaced the one marked 2 in the red box and the breather comes from the arrow marked 1 crankcase i think?

Just a suggestion, some red ignition wires, I see that those run over your cover, recon it would look smashing as a little finishing touch

Replacing it - getting some of that ducting off ebay thats glass fibre with a neoprene coating and piping it down to the fog grille.
The metal pipe will cause damage wherever it is
As for that filter, it will get totally full of oil fairly quickly even more so if the car is pushed a bit here and ther

Ill get some pics of what i did soon
