Lowering on 17s query.

To lower around 60mm with coilovers on 17s, do any changes have to be made to the mechanics of the suspension (ie. upgrading the arbs etc) for this to happen safely and properly?

not as far as i'm aware mate, i guess it depends on the width of the alloy as well! If tyhe alloy is too wide then the ride may have to be raised to stop the wheels smashing into the arch over rough roads.

Yep the 17s would be ET35 and 7.5J wide.

i 'think' they will be fine, the 17s i had were 8.5J with an ET35 and were right out by the arch. As the wheels in question are and inch more narrow, I can't see this being a problem!
