New Polo Headunit

Post by T-1000 »

Hi everyone I am new to this forum and im just looking for some quick advice

My girlfriend has ordered a new polo twist with a standard radio casette. Can this be changed for an aftermarket unit if so is a fascia adaptor required or will it just slot in?

Cheers

Hi and welcome!

Aftermarket stereo's will fit in with no problem so long as they are DIN or Double-DIN Standard size.

Hi and welcome.

You will also need the wiring harness so that you can plug your new radio into the VW wires without chopping anything!

I had to get something to plug into the aerial adaptor too as the aerial on the 9N's are powered to allow for a better signal?
