quick question on changing lights

i want to change my lightbulbs that i bought when i had my 6n2 they are from vw the are simply the sidelights 1st light turn and the main beams 2nd turn on light switch now ino how to change the main beam but to chnage the sidelights i cant bloody do it does any1 know how to do it???
