Stolen recovered info?

I'm trying to get hold of a 16v polo, and found a likely prospect but unfortunately it's a stolen recovered car.

This puts me off....

Should it? Will I always have to declare this if I sell it? Is it registered and harder to insure? If someone does an HPI check will it always appear? It's a good price (obviously) but I'm very wary.

Any info appreciated.

These are always @ Auctions.

I think it will always show up on the HPi, but if your honest with any future buyers then its not a problem for most. Is there any damage? or is it just a lock and ignition barrel replacement?
