Colin Mcrae has died!!!

Colin Mcrae and his five year old son, Johnny have died in a helicopter crash, with him as the pilot only a mile or so away from his Lanarkshire home.

My deepest condolences go out to his family and freinds.

I for one am devistated by this news as he has been my hero, my model on which i base my future career, and a bloody good rally driver.

How ironic that he should die at the hands of a chopper than a rally car.

My he and his son ret in piece.

What a guy.

Very sad news for all involved, i deliver car parts to his garage at his home in lanark, he was a very genuine guy and a true rally legend RIP

being a scoob owner as well Colin will be a sad loss to the Rallying world

I am not a fan of rally but known Collin Mcrae as an amazing rally car driver and even played the video game. To hear his passing is a shock non the less. And even worse to hear about his 5 year old son. Hope they find peace where ever they are. My sincere condolence to his surviving family.

yea very very sad day, he was a rallying genius and would always entertain. could tell it was him coming down the mountains of wales cos no one was anywhere as sideways as him. Feel so sorry for his family losing such a young son aswell. A true rallying hero and inspiration to many many people (me included). Hope they all are in a better place
