front and rear bumper lower valance removal ... how?

im looking at colour coding my gti's sideskirts and front and real lower bumper spoilers (valances)

whilst the sideskirts removal looks simple enough, how do the bumper valances come away

could someone help me or compile a guide or step by step?

i just removed the whole bumper when i did mine was alot less trouble then trying to get them off with the bumpers still on
