Whirring Noise when accelerating?

Hi I've just bought my first polo yay!

Its a 2003 1.4 FSI Sport

Anyway the cars driving perfectly though I've noticed a squeaky whirring noise (kind of like "errrrrrrr") sometimes when I accelerate but only at really low speed (1st gear) then it disappears.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Good purchase!

Mine does this sometimes when I have the climatic on a warm/hot setting. It's a kind of whirring noise could possibly be the same thing? Try turning it off and see if it does it.

Cheers for the reply mate, Id noticed the climatic whirring noise too, but this is different, its just from a standing start you see?

Any ideas?
