Badgeless Grill

Post by Sershen »

Does anyone know where I can get a Badgeless grill like this one?

I've seen a lot of them on german polo's but none in this country...any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

Sershen

Thanks for that...but I tried them both and unfortunately they don't have anything for the 9N3 Polo!

I think it finishes the front off nicely as it matches the slats in the lower part of the bumper...I think the GTI should have come with the complete honeycombe grill set like the Mk5 Golf...as it doesn't i think the above grill makes the front look more symetrical...

Looks a bit home-made to me. The slats look ever so slightly wonky where the VW roundel should be to my eyes. Plus theres the cut out for the top of the badge still there.
I prefer a standard grille with maybe a black VW badge personally. Nowt to be ashamed of driving a VW you know, so don't hide the fact!!!

Looks awesome imo, keep us updated on this. Works well as the bottom grills are slats too.

A couple of other images for you. Can't find out who manufacturers it though :(

I found the pics here, I would suggest registering on that site and asking the owner, most German's/Swiss can read/speak English.
