1.pop out the badge from the grill.(it should just push out from the front no need for screwdriver!)

2. get the badge and rub down with wet and dry paper i used 120 grit (course) from halfrauds until dull and not shiny although it will still look a little shiny.
BEFORE

AFTER

3. Protect the area that is going to be used for spraying as it can get everywhere! I used newspaper! place the badge in the protected area and spray a thin coat of plastic primer on the badge making sure you cover the whole badge then leave to dry (it says 15 mins for touch dry but i gave it 20!)

4. give badge 2 more coats of plastic primer and leave to dry overnight!
this is what i got in the morning.

5.final stage! spray badge with paint (i used gloss black) making sure whole badge is coverd and again leave to dry for 20 mins before appplying another coat. 4 coats minimum 7 coats max. then if preferd laquer but i choose not to! leave to dry over night!
