Buring Oil

Anyone had any trouble with there GTI buring oil ? Where do i start to try find out why and where its doing it ?

Its usually a seal leaking somewhere. Can be piston seals, or a gasket somewhere along the lines. Get a garage to check it over (thats what id do!)

How bad is it? and also, check your oil level - if its overful itll burn!

Happened to me, ended up having to get a new engine. This happened, as valves went oval and the guides were f****d.
