Hello,
My last two Polos have both required at least two or three sensors replacing. Stuff like Lambda and NoX sensors.
The cars were a Polo 6N 1.4S and, my current car, a Polo 9N Sport 1.4 FSI. Both cars were/are low mileage and no more than 4 years old with full VW service histories.
It just seems that they both required lots of replacement engine/exhaust sensors and, when just out of warranty these items are expensive to replace.
Does anybody know if Polo's are prone to sensor failures please ?.
Also, the sensors usually seem to fail after long journeys, particularly if driving fast for long periods. Could it be the high revs and/or heat that has contributed to them failing ?.
Thanks,
Maverick
