I need to know the same. Got a leak somewhere in my car and it's letting all the water in, so i've got to get the seats out to dry the carpet

first pull the lever up and push seat all the way back, then there should be a small 10mm bolt at the front, undo that and remove it and then just slide the seat further back till it comes out of the runners

as gangsta says its easy. Slide back undo and then your near enough off. One thing he missed was the plastic ends to the rail. They just pull off. theyre pretty brittle usually. I broke both mine cause they were a pain lol. Dont make no difference to the seat so b*******s to it haha.
one other thing is try and keep the white greased bit of plastic in the middle on. youll see what i mean when you get the seat off. can be a bugger to get back on if it comes off.

I removed my passenger seat today. Very simple to do and made removing the sound insulation (which was soaking wet) a lot easier to access.
Thanks for the tips guys

To remove:
Put the seat fully back on the runners. Remove the allen key headed bolt and recover the nut
Then put seat fully forward on runners, and remove the end clip closest to the door side and the plastic guide on the other runner. Note this is very fragile, and can snap with little to no pressure.
Then put the seats all the way back on the runners and they will just lift out with some gentle persuasion.
Mind the grease though - its horrible stuff, and is a good way to make you need a replacement carpet fast!!
