MY poor polo

Post by iggy350 »

oday I've just rammed the back of someone :(

The front bumper has been shunnted back, the grill surround has broken, number plate is smashed up.

So cos im Third party Fire and theft i gotta repair myself :P

so 16v Bumper as replacement :)
I have a new grill already on order from german just aint got here yet.
However the grill surround where the grill sits in where will i get another one of them?

If anyone is breaking a black polo will u let me know cos id really like to buy one what i dont have to get sprayed, but if ur breaking any colour polo still give me a shout and a price for it, inc P&P unless ur local ill collect.

thanks

Gutted for you mate, although like you said that it's a good opportunity to upgrade the bumper

Try most breakers yards, you might get lucky :)

I'd snap up that grill surround asap, i was going to my local breakers for about two to three weeks until i finally got one. Apparently they're one of the first things to go from a polo! And with the grills for the bumper i think can be bought from vagparts or ebay, not too sure though.

it ok now nikz i got one, and in black, and even better its local :) cos me £30 tho :/

Took off the broken grill surround today and found out my drivers side indicartor holder was broken so ill have to get some new indicators, or just fit my old yellow ones on and get the tinted black :P

I also have an aftermarket grill on order, i ordered it before the crash :P

Once the cars all fixed with a new bumper and new grill ill post a pick :)

Nice one mate, just ordered myself some clear indicators for the front and side for my polo. The good thing is about polo's, because they are first cars they are loads smashed up. This means cheap parts are available at breakers. Got that 16V Front and rear bumper planned for mine sometime next year. Then I'll get new alloys and lower it. Sorted 8)

Don't go back to yellow, black tint all the way!

haha yea. Ive ordered some new clear indicators off ebay. I wanna get some new alloys and lower it but They only reason I dont wanna lower is because of the insurance. But I'll find a way around it.

The dog cost me 800 or so. HIC sounds class. I'll have to try them out or maybe GSi. But will have to wait till next year now. Im happy with paying £66 a month its not 2 bad compared with what im used to paying
