well central lockings buggered AGAIN damn useless thing! Its an electrical problem rather than a problem with the pump, anyone got any ideas? Its remote central locking, none of the doors will ever unlock unless done manually. All the doors lock using the remote. I've been told its likely either the motor in the drivers door, or the 'control box' wotever that is.
I've conclued its not the pump because the pump makes no sound, if it were an air leak you would hear the pump wurr but with no action, you can hear the pump whurr when the doors bother to lock.

VOLKSWAGEN QUOTED Â£110 JUST TO DIAGNOSE. Sod that for value 4 money, the cars only work Â£1k!

have u checked ur pump m8? cos when mine went before it made no noise what so ever. If i was u id just check the pump and its circuit board for mold

if its not that then i dunno what to suggest. :/ maybe go to the scrappers and rip out all the door units for the central locking

not a plesent job.

check all your fuses for one. Then check to ensure all the wiring is safe and secure onto the pump.

already checked, it works occaisionly and usually locks so no idea

So it locks but wont unlock? That suggests its an issue with the comfort module/controller. I think its located somewhere under the dash. Yours is non-remote am i right?

nah its remote, ive seen it unlock vary rarely since the problems but locks every time
