central locking arghhhhhhhhh

Well thats what I get for laughing at everyone's pumps not working. Put new lexus lights in mine other day all was okay. Went out yesterday in all the snow, cleared the car and it refused to open grrrrrrrr. Pump not making a sound. Wont open with key any ideas on how to override cl so that i can just use key for now.

If you can go into the boot, then you can get to the central locking pump and disconnect the electric pump that pushes the air flow for the central locking.

If your in the boot, look to the right, and take the carpet (benhind your rear light) down, its similar to the opposite side where the safety kit is or something like that??

Anyway dig down a lil, and your see see the pump... disconnect the 12 pins?

Thats weird tho mate normally when the pump goes you can still use the key. Fitting new lights to mine left a nice little hole for water to gush in and kill the pump, so I went all round the egde with industrial sealant and sealed the pump with a load of duct tape (real profesh) looks tacky as hell but hey least the pumps dry!

Cheers guys managed to get in through boot (son wanted to video and send to you've been framed) managed to get door open but of course it wont flippin lock now. Door pin is only coming up a fraction like it is trying to open. Will try unplugging pump tomorrow. There was me thinking i had protected it, i put bubble wrap over it when i put lights in. To top it all my LH light is not working properly no tail and indlicator flashing in correct place and also in brake light grrrrrrrr took 6 hours to figure daughters LEDs looks like I am in for more of same.

Sorry to jump in but my central locking wont unlock the boot but it will lock it. We have had a look and as you unlock it the pin moves a lot slower as though something is holding it back..... any ideas how to fix this?
