tyres?? HELP

i have 16 inch wheels with 195/45R16's on them, the car is lowered 60mm all-round, i find the fronts rub slightly and the rears now and then, i was wondering if i could stretch a slightly narrower tyre or will i just have to get some 195/40R16's? any advice?, Cheers

what car, and what width wheel?
