GTI Remap 0-60

Post by titan619 »

What is the 0-60 when you remap the gti, how much is it better than the original 0-60 in 8.2 secs?

Massive difference... dry day with good tyres... I think you will find people on here with 6 1/2 seconds...or better :-)\

In my experience traction is the problem.

seen that is pretty impessive, because i have been reading reviews, and people say the gti is slow of the block and takes time to build up its speed, but when it does it flys...i want it to fly from start lol

With APR remap it does not show up on the diagnois system VW use if u take ur car in with a fault ie not gonna void ur warrenty if they dont know its there :)
Thats the main reason i went for it. Plus heard the REVO remap is a higher pressure in ur turbo which a wasnt really keen on eithers.

with the mods seen below in my signature, i managed to run a sub 6 second run last year mate

that was without the rear seats and with 15" steel wheels on with sticky rubber

on road wheels and with the interior id imagine it to be 6 seconds dead, its a proper little beast though

thats an excellent time :)

my old Quat did it in 6 seconds dead, im gettin more and more impressed with this little polo as i read more, cant wait to pick mine up :D just shows the advantage of weight shaving, i would strip it out like i did my old punto, but its a bit more upmarket than a fiat pmsl
