squeeling noise from brakes!!!!

Post by htid-gordy »

hello all just wondering what this squeeling noise is that is coming from the front wheels assuming its the brakes as when i press them it stops.

I have recently fitted new discs and pads (a week ago to be precise) as the brakes were allready making a noise due to not having any pads left in them and the discs being really worn.

This noise is starting to worry me now as not sure what it may be can anyone calm my nerves thanks for your help.

f the break pads are making contact, even slightly, when the brake isnt applied then it will squeak. Happened to me last time i serviced the polo. Its cause i bought chitty cheap pads from german and swedish that were probably not molded to the right size lol.

Itll go away with use.
