Another New Owner

Hi All,

I have been trauling this site for a while now without registering so i thought i would take this opportunity to make myself know.

I bought my black 2001 Polo GTi at 17 just befor christmas. I have already had trouble with sticky windows and all the rest of the common faults but i just cant bring myself to sell up

I have lowered the car on coilovers and have just refurbished my GTi wheels with black centers and polished lip (opinions on gold bolts???) so my car is just sat on a set of BBS RA's for winter wheels but thats it for the modding so far so i am looking foreward to a summer packed with shows and meets. Do we have any sort of local VW meets or are they all sort of national jobs?

Kind of a pointless thread but you all know i am here now

Re the local meets, there are a few! Whereabouts are you based? Keep an eye on the Meetings & Events area for up coming meets both national and local
