dont get me wrong... but are you wanting to put this in your car... or at to go along with your home cinema?

cos last time i check the PV1 is a active sub... with a intergrated amp so you dont need an external amp to power it...

ok went to work today and picked it up, me being the idiot i am didnt ask fully what i was gettin! anyway it turns out it is just the drive unit from the subwoofer so it doesnt have the amp that is built in with the actual sub, so therefore i really do need an amp! its only 6 inches as well as i need my boot to put golf clubs in, so any ideas guys? has anyone got something cheap lying around?

personally i wouldnt stick a household sub with a car amp mate, it will take its life at the first beat lol

sell that sub on ebay for 300-400 quid, get yourself a nice active sub and you'll be sorted lol
