MK IV Rough running on warm up

anyone help? I have a 1.0 L mkIV polo that part way through warming up keeps running rough a loosing power for a few minutes, then once warmed up runs as sweet as a nut

i first would suggested cleaning the enigine out with some engine cleaners form halfords.
