Fibre Glass Sub Box (Any Suggestions)

I have decided that a normal sub box consumes too much space and doesnt look that great, so i am going to try and attempt to make a new sub box from fibre glass and MDF.

This is how far i have got at the moment:



I know this is going to be hard work, but i plan to get loads done on it over the bank holiday providing nothing else comes up.

Has anyone else tried to make one of these, and if so is there anything i should be warned about ??

Has anyone got any tips/tricks on the fibre glassing techniques ?
