well tonight, i finally finished the 12 stage process of doing the car, my arms feel massive and i feel iv lost a few pounds in the process too haha

its a slow process and bear in mind these pics do not do the car the justice it deserves, but they are just a few teasers till i get proper pictures once i decide on a location

so here we go,

ha ha, ill do it if the price is right mate, took me 3 days on mine though

stage 1 - wash car with zymol clear autobathe, using the process of height down, starting with the roof, then the glass and pillars, then the bonnet and half way down the doors and pannels, then the other halfs of the doors and pannels, then the bumpers then the wheels

stage 2 - dry off using either a zymol chamois or leaf blower (to avoid paint damage) do not leave to dry natuarlly, as limescale in the water car make the car harder to work on

stage 3 - give the car a full going over in zymol cleaner wax, applying it with a foam applicator and buffing off with a zymol microwipe

stage 4 - mist spray the car with cool water and buff to a shine to activate the ingredients and set the gloss shine

stage 5 - repeat this process, remember, preperation is everything

stage 6 - pannel by pannel, in 12" by 12" squares apply zymol hd cleanse in straight lines with a zymol microfibre foam applicator and buff off with a zymol microwipe BEFORE the product sets, until the car is complete

step 7 - pannel by pannel, again in 12" by 12" squares apply zymol carbon wax in straight lines using a zymol foam applicator (not microfiber foam applicator), leave for 30 seconds and buff off using a zymol microwipe, until the car is done

step 8 - leave for 30 mins to an hour for the wax to set, and repeat step 7

step 9 - again after leaving the wax to set, apply zymol detail to the bumpers paintwork using a foam applicator in 12" by 12" squares and buff off to a shine after 30 seconds using a zymol microwipe (detail contains moisturisers to keep the plastic nourished and prevents drying out and cracking of paint applied to plastic pannels)

step 10 - using a microfibre foam applicator, apply zymol field glaze, this can be done pannel by pannel, leave for ten seconds to cure then buff off to a shine with a zymol microwipe

step 11 - repeat step 4 with the water and buff up to a shine again

step 12 - finally, repeat step 10 with the field glaze for ultimate depth and clarity

the results should at this point, be astonishing

today here the weather is a disgrace, windy, miserable and raining wanted to get pics today as well

gutted

on the other hand though, i have applied another coat of carbon to the car and so its even more protected than it was haha, also cleaned, fed and conditioned the leather inside again with all zymol productsas it was getting a bit shiney, now its returned to its lovely original matt finish all clean and lush

off now to get it out in the horrid weather and get it dirty again

Jeff, I'v always used Zymol on my car and agree its the nuts. I went for the concours set though. Do you not apply the wax by hand? You end up using alot less and the wax melts on touch so applys better. ...................Maybe I'm just special LOL

Truly stunning jeff - well done indeed! When i get the new one, ill give it the full treatment. My paintwork now is too swirly to make this kind of treatment worthwhile which is ashame...looks like i need to get a PC!
