Nope it is not
Mine's a Genesis and all the Genesis type I (is non G40) didn't have color coded mirrors
Only the Genesis II (or Genesis G40) did have color coded mirrors. at least thats what Volkswagen decided for us overhere.
Well actually the Dutch Genesis type I is not more than a basic mk3 polo with a 5 speed gearbox and Genesis badges.

argh, I looked under the hood of my m8's Boulevard 1.0L, shocking state is was. I hope urs looks better than that. And my other m8's Genesis didn't have colour coded mirrors (i dont think )

my engines in a pritty good state! its done about 95000! quite clean, hopefully tidy it up in the summer

I wouldnt touch my engine with a barge pole were it not necessary.. gonna need extra thick marigolds to clean it off
How would one go about painting those teflon coated mirrors then?

Not many MK3s IIRC.
However the MK2 Polo Parade came with colour coded mirrors, and these are pretty much the same

The only one i know of that came with colour coded mirrows is the g40 genersis (spelling)
