brake pad choice?

Hi All,
Can some one suggest or recommend some front brake pads which are a little more fade resistant than standard and which do not require too much extra pedal pressure. the car is a 1.4 8v 6n2 fitted with Brembo smooth discs.
I have been using Black diamond pads which need a lot of extra pressure to work.

I've been using Black Diamond Predator pads for over two and a half years now and don't think that they require any extra pressure to work

When was the last time you had the brake fluid changed?

Hi SiGTi, Thank you for your reply. I changed the fluid Dot 5.1 last summer when I fitted the discs, pads, and braided hoses.
It is strange that you have not found extra pedal pressure necessary as I have.
