wheel alignment

hi again to everyone!

I went to Modern tyres yesterday and ask for a quote for 2 rear tyres replaced, wheel balance, wheel align.... cost of tyre was Â£48 each incl. balancing(Bridgetone B250).... but the guy there quoted me Â£35 per wheel for alignement. I make it clear to him that its PER 1 WHEEL ALIGN = Â£35. Is this price just right as i think its too expensive. Because i have 2 front tyres replaced by VW(same brand) for Â£120 balance & alinged.

That is pretty fancy! The only useful alignment is either the front - ie tracking, or four wheel alignment - but that would cost about Â£70 > Â£110. Strange tyre place you seem to have found!

I paid Â£50 for a 4 wheel laser alignment!

EDIT - Although looking at their website the price has gone up now.
