My candy white GTi *update page 3*

Post by loud »

Well I finally found the time to start getting my car cleaned up and do a few little mods.

So far the mods are only Sharan aerial, black vw engraved richbrook tax disc holder, Forge 007p recirc valve, BMC panel filter, PD160 intake and new plates. Next inline is a re-map and lowering.

I only had the time to do the front wings and bonnet properly today, the whole car was washed then to the front wings and bonnet I clayed, jeffs prime acrylic, poorboys white diamond glaze, 4 coats of jeffs acrylic trigger followed by a final going over with glos.

Pics were taken with a s**t phone camera and the light wasn't great. The pictures also haven't taken kindly to being resized for some reason, even doing it in photoshop, but here goes anyway

yea with lighter colours it takes a lot of effort to get a gloss which you can easily get with a darker colour but I quite happily put that effort in.

I got the aerial off a guy who was selling them on clubpolo, not sure if he's still selling them though. If you go on clubpolo and do a search you'll find the guy no probs
