If your looking for an active sub and for the amount of your budget, i would recommend the FLI Trap 12". FLI is made by Vibe so you would get a lot of punch. I had the 10" in my 6n but I upgraded to the 12" sounds but better because of the excursion.

Just had a look at a few:

http://www.newimagecarhifi.co.uk/fli-tr ... pr-97.html

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yrn_98185#

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/fusion- ... -6273.html

Picked out these three wondering if anyone has had any experience with them and could give some feed back on which is best

Thanks

i've had the 12" active fli one. (well still have it in the garage)

tbh at the price it cant be faulted, i only wish i got maybe the double 10"s as i listen to like ska music and it's alot quicker bass. but the 12" was good.

i should really buy the stuff i need to put i in my new car..

or 100 with wiring kit

also are they much effort to install? :)

Yeah I also had the 1000w Fli in my old 6N. Very neat, matched carpet, easy to instal and very good quality for the price.
