Cluster problem & MOT

Post by polo-sib »

The odometer is playing up, I checked the cables at the back of the cluster and its all fine but don't know whether it will fail the MOT or not, basically the odometer works. But its difficult to read the millage like it looks like its say 196k odd but its really saying 116k, but the segments aren't (sometimes you can read the millage perfectly other times the segments randomly don't work) working properly and I don't know whether it will fail the MOT due to this.

Can anyone shine some light on where this has to work for the MOT to pass or not or what the problem could be, many thanks.

I don't think its part of the MOT, mine doesn't work sometimes, looks like I have all 8's and she's never failed because of that.

Ah brilliant, as my other half is taking my 1.0 and I was worried whether it'd pass the mot. Many thanks :)
