Post by Torq-Al »

I've seen something similar to this before, however I didn't think it worked. Anyone shed any light on the concept?

I very much doubt it. Mythbusters did a show on these "Fuel Saving" products and found out the majority did nothing and some actually increased fuel consumption

Its a bit of carefully bent and cut foil, its meant to create a vortex as a vortex flow is less resistant. But looks like if anything it bottlenecks air instead  Which should ruin and increase fuel consumption.

Increases upto 30HP hey!??

As we all know, induction kits themselves increase minimal bhp so having this won't. Furthermore, all it seams to be doing is restrict air through the intake. Less air means less fuel to get the mixture right but your car will suffer it drastic. More air means leaner fuel consumption.

If a car had carbs then is it even necessary as you can manually reduced fuel added?

A better use would be to put a tea candle in the middle and turn off the lights, put some whale farting chill out cd on and watch the pretty patterns on the wall.

I had seen the Tornado System a couple of years ago, & that didn't seem to work, £70 a go too! So was sure this would be 'pants' too!
