anybody out there got a 5 door silver gti, or can give me advice on how to make my silver 5 door 6n2 into a eye catching gti

Suggest doing a forum search buddy - there is absolutely loads of info on how to make you GTI something special. Look at the top of the page in the GTI section also. Max has done a common mod guide, and theres a dedicated photo gallery page. Although 5 door silver GTIs are somewhat rare

I see a fair few 5-door Silver GTis out and about, it seems they are just rare
on the scene.
