Polo 6n speaker problems...

hi, i have a 3door 6n and i just wanted to know the colour of the wires for the front speakers that are on the doors and the tweeters on the dash...?

i just wanted to know so i can check out if they actually work because i have only just been running speakers from the parcel shelf as i havent had time to sort out the front speakers.

My trusty Haynes manual says:

Upto '98.

LH Tweeter- 2xBrown/Blue & 2xBlack
LH Door- Red/Black & Brown/Blue

RH Tweeter- 2xRed & 2xBrown/Red
RH Door- Red/Black & Black/Brown

Post '98

LH Tweeter & Door- Brown/Blue & Blue

RH Tweeter & Door- Brown/Red & Red

what colour wires is it that goes with the red/brown and red ones?
