Flashing Coil

Hi there everybody,

My Polo 9N 1.4 Tdi has started to flash its orange coil light at me. I did some reading and found out about the brake sensor problem, and that it could be causing it.

So i checked the brake lights and all would appear fine :?

Is it possible that it could still be an issue with this sensor, even though it seams to be working normally? Or is it likely to be something more sinister :(

I don't have VAG COM so I can't check the error codes myself.

Thanks

Mark

is it your brake wear warning light.. meaning your front pads are worn to the limit..? if so they will need replacing

I think the brake light switch cost me few quid from dingbro isnt a dear part if u change it just incase it is still faulty

Thanks for the replies. I managed to get the codes read and it is the brake switch.

I also have all the usual heater flap faults and, 00898 Control Circuit A/C compressor, 010 - Open or Short to Plus. Anyone any ideas what causes this.

Thanks
