Warranty claims

My interior light has messed up so it will go to on and off but when centred doesn't go on when the doors are opened.

Going to book it in but I take it this is a warranty issue but how does this work since I bought the car second hand from an independent garage, will I still have no issues with warranty claims?

The car was registered mid 06 so I presume I am covered til mid 09?

Goin to ask about the gearbox oil change too while I'm at it

Yeah straight forward just get it booked in and they'll sort it for you. At most they'll just need to update contact details. You could get a courtesy car as well but it'll only add to whatever date they give you.

yea just phoned them and it was all cool, they couldnt find my car at first as I have a personal plate on it, which wasn't recognised and the standard one wasn't either...so a search on the chassis number pulled up another private plate which the previous owner must have had on it.

Booked in for Friday, I work right across the road from the main Aberdeen VW garage so no courtesy car needed
