started the car this morning and straight away I noticed the milage trip had reset to zero. I noticed this because I was trying to keep a tab on how long my tyres are lasting. So no cause for concern.
Got about 200yrds up the road and my low oil light started flashing.
Stopped at my house checked the dipstik, and where it was low it was only just under the correct level.
Topped the oil back up and started the car again. Light comes back on
I know know that there is oil in the car and the light is going of for no reason.
I also noticed that one of the little digital lines that make up numbers on the odometer has gone, happens over time in digital items.
There was no oil on the drive it was left overnight and haven't caught it on anything recently.
Any ideas, Im feeling its an electrical problem, this may sound stupid but is it possible to run vag-com on a 99 mk4 polo?
