Trip Switch on Speedo

Post by crodgers »

Filled the 6n up the other day and went to reset the trip to see what sort of mileage i get from the full. But the switch to reset the miles doesnt seem to be working. Ive pressed it and held it and pulled it and tried to turn it and nothing at all seems to work. Any ideas befor i take it to the VW Garage?

Possibly a dodgy connection on the switch, or just given up! To be honest, does it bother you that much? If you can live without it, then don't worry. The odometer at least will show you how many miles you've done, granted you'll have to do some math's to calculate it & it's not to the nearest 0.1 of a mile, but heh, lifes too short!
