Turning the Immobiliser off ...HELP PLEASE?

Post by MBlaze »

Hey,

this is my 1st post here and im kind of new to cars.

I own a 1.6 N reg Polo (obviously), and currently it is parked in the drive. It seams like every day the car alarm is going off once or even more. I don't know what is setting the car off because it is sat parked next to 2 cars.

Therefore draining the battery meaning i have to jump start it again to get it running. I think i have a problem with the immobiliser and i went about disconnecting it, i looked at the circuits under the stearing wheel and was completely confused by it all.

I was wondering if anyone can help me??

Is there anyway to adjust the sensitivity, or do i have to disconnect it??

Thanks

Mike

if its not the factory fitted immobiliser/alarm then the best bet is to get it removed or at least checked out by a specialist in your area.
