How do you know how much your lowered by?

Post by yosin »

Ok, maybe a noobish question but like how do you know how much your lowered by?..ive got a set of adjustable coilies on the polo and im just going to tinker with it in a moment. But was wondering how do you know much your lowered by? is there a gauge or something on the suspension or like you measure it from the ground?

:? thanks

Measure the height between the floor and the top of the arch before and after you lower. The difference is how much lwoer it is.

Eh? The GTi is approximately 15mm lower than a standard 6N2.

Let me determine your situation, is your car standard height or is your car lowered already?

If it's standard and you are planning to lower it. You can work out how low it is after you have finished, by using the method explained above.

If it's already lowered it's hard to determine it. I guess you find a standard GTi a compare heights.
