will a mk5 rear bumper fit straight onto the mk4 got offered one cheap!!

Dont think its a straight fit. Or loads more people would have done it. Panels are different!

No it wont plus you would have 2 spaces for numberplates. You would have to smooth the upper tailgate recess over.
