Terrible for starting on a morning

Post by iggy350 »

Hey guys

got a new start motor fitted not so long ago, have a push button starts atm cos ignition barrel went and old button stuck in and blew my start up :P.

Anyway, some times the car will start and sometimes it wont. Generally the car wont on a morning or if I leave it for a few days.

I have been monitoring the batterys voltage on a night and generally its like 12.8v then on a morning after I check it the batter is 12.3v or so. Is this normal?

The battery is brand new and my old battery was exactly the same. SO the battery is no the problem, the battery is also a Heavy Deuty one.

What could possible be the problem any help would be apprieciated

Thanks guys

Depends what you have on the car electrically that may be draining the juice from the battery, have you any 'non-standard' mods like an alarm that may suck the life overnight?
