Sub not powering

Hi Guys. Finished wiring up my fusion sub which has an in built amp on it. However, i can't seem to get the power light to come on. I have checked all fuses and tested the power cable at both ends. There is definatly power goin through to the sub. Could my problem be the earth. I have screwed it down tight to the sub - frame and have cleaned of the paint around it but still no joy. Any ideas anyone, please??

Have you connected the 'trigger' wire from the amp to your head-unit?
