Advice wanted on how to RE-FURBISH the starter motor???

Any advice at all... Even if it is to not to bother and just buy a new one?

Don't think it's difficult, strip it out & replace the brushes inside. Depends if you can get the parts cheap enough.

Just take yours to be refurbed, possibly cheaper. Or just buy a warrantied 2nd hand one!

Most of the cases it's more then just the brushes, it can also be the axle in it's casing which isn't fitted in tight enough anymore, making it wobble. So there's a chance you need to re-new the housing.

Just get a refurbed one and swap in your old one for discount, saves you a lot of hussle and time! :wink:

Thanks, you know how dad's are...

I'l buy another one, easiest option and probably best.
