Hey guys, just wondering the feasibility and what would be involved in fitting a GTi climate control unit into my SE model? Also I've seen a couple available from breakers that I could get my claws on, but also does anyone know how much they might be new from VW?

Fitting Climate Control to SE
Very labour intensive to fit a climate control unit, i would of thought. What you'd need, from memory, is the control unit, pump, condenser & evaporator plus associated plumbing & pipework! To fit all this would mean striping a lot of dash & swapping of pulleys etc.
And once it's all fitted you can get it gassed up & ready for use!
