Head Units (Double DIN)

Post by quiksilveralex »

Hay im kinda new to the site always kept an eye on here but finally bought a polo 6n2 1.4 (slow 8v :) )last weekend and going to collect it next weekend cant wait :D :D anywho back to the question

I was looking at double din head units and came across this

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer ... -6552.html

just wondering what your thoughts are on it etc ? And what head units you would recommend for the same kind of money (doesn’t have to be double din) ?

I hope to run a good set of front components and a small 10" sub some point further down the line.

Thanks Alex :D

Save your money mate, and buy a better headunit than that, I have a Kenwood DDX6029

Its a good piece of kit, only thing it dont have is the Nav unit, and i aint forking out £400 for a unit lol

Lights up the blue so goes with the dash and colour, makes the dash so much neater when in.

But if you aint fussed about being a double din, spend your money on a single din unit, get more for your money there!

Yeh that HU seems highly pointless really. It's just a big single DIN player, doesnt really offer anything more than a single.

Thats the one i looked at originally. It was a possibility, but single is a better choice i think for the polo :) Has all the same features as the Pioneer DEH-P800BT - and thats an awesome head unit!! (mine :D)
