Polo mk4 1.3 8v starting problems

hi there guys i have a 1995 mk4 polo 1.3 8v adx engine

im having some starting problems

what happens is i start the car, the car starts then immeditly cuts out i have to keep on doing this about 3 or 4 times plus with also pressing the acceleator before the car starts an idles properly

ive checked the throttle body cleaned it out checked rotar arm ht leads and dizzy cap

can anyone shed any light on what it could be ?

cheers alex anything else it could be did a search and most people have said temperature sensor? it mostly happens on cold morning but it has got worser, car just switches on then cuts out instanly i have to keep on crackin it 3 or 4 times before it works with the help of pressing the accelerator

It could be the temperature sensor. They arent expensive to replace, so change it anyway as it cant hurt to!
