Brakes

Im looking at getting new front discs and pads cause mine are fuked and im looking at EBC Green pads and getting either EBC discs or black diamond. Does anyone recommend any other makes of discs that are decent. And what is better, drilled, groved, both and slotted? Replacing the rear drums as they are rusted alot. Does anyone know where to get rear drums, shoes and the drum brake pads? Went to VW (ha ha ha) and they said it is incl vat £42 per drum and £45 per shoe! I thought you mugging bastards. Went to halfords and the person who works there is into his vw's, he owns a mk 1,2 and 3 VR6 corrad! He told me you can get drums for about £20 each and shoes about the same. Rear pads arent a problem cause halfords sell ferrado for about £35. Expensive for getting new brakes! Still need to get me coilies!

EBC are generally a good brand, so anything by them is recommended. Black Diamond get good feedback on here also.

Deffently getting pads by them. I dont think they do rear drum pads so I will get ferrado but i think there a branch of EBC. Will more than likely get disc's by them to as there a little cheaper.
